A gasp of air, and there I go! I'm still breathing! Just watched the super-hyped movie 'Karthik calling Karthik' which does not live up to one's curiosity! I wasted some two and half hours watching Farhan Akhtar trying hard to convince the audience to hold on to their seats...Undoubtedly, Deepika Padukone, steals the show by the her ravishing looks leaving most of the guys drooling.She is the only justice to the moolah you've doled out!
Also had a chance to watch the Oscar nominated movie- Hurt Locker. The base idea was beautiful and did teach me that watching Karthik calling Karthik was self inflicted hurt locker. Somehow , not very happy with the editing of the movie and being an IT guy, I would have been a better person to do that.Please please please... give me a break! Let's see how it fares! Stay tuned to the Academy Awards being aired on 7th March 2010.
A breathtaking salsa performance...Naah! not by me! Choreographers from outside Tesco! But yeah, I did manage to shake a leg on stage and do some ungainly stunts! Nonetheless people eulogised! People have some taste missing there :)
Prepared Chilly Paneer! Googled the recipe on the internet, procured the ingredients and set on to work! Turned out OK , but my sixth sense condemns it still! Could have been better!
Played doubles, though have been doing it singles all the time. The ping-pong ball has rendered me quite nimble around the table. Have shed few inches ;) that's the sole motive of my playing. My opponent is quite competent and sure she gives me a run for the ball ....No pun intended :)
Just read the book 'Unaccustomed Earth' by Jhumpa Lahiri(an assorted collection of short stories) and got to learn a lot about Bongs and their foreign-settled counterparts! Personally I have a lot of Bengali and pseudo-bengali friends! So I would actually say it's a good write before they knock me down! She is a beautiful author and indeed you get to learn a lot while you read the works of such accomplished writers!
